I wanted to showcase what the Huawei Mate could do without it feeling like a spec ad.

So we partnered with XBlades Racing — the world's leading drone racing team — and set them a simple challenge. Design and build a racetrack like no one had ever seen before. Planned and designed entirely on the Huawei Mate.

What made this interesting beyond the film was the audience it put us in front of.

Drone racing and e-sports are growing fast. And the people in those worlds are exactly the kind of consumers a challenger tech brand needs. They demand the most powerful devices. They're not loyal to the big names by default. They'll switch if you give them a reason.

We gave them a reason.
